Pink Grapefruits are less bitter citrus fruits than yellow grapefruit because they have a higher sugar content, a higher concentration of anthocyanins and carotenes, and the same wealth of vitamins and antioxidants.
They present a fairly thin skin and their flesh has a color between pink and red. We harvest Organic Sicilian Pink Grapefruits at the time of shipping, when they have reached the right point of ripeness on the tree, that is, when at least half of the skin has begun to turn yellow or pink.

Storage tips: the first thing to do is to remove the grapefruits from the packaging used for transport; they should be placed in an airy container, avoiding crowding and crushing. Store grapefruits in the refrigerator or, if you prefer to keep them out of the refrigerator, make sure it is a cool, airy place away from heat sources and low humidity. In this way grapefruits, like all citrus fruits, will last a long time, even 1 month, retaining their taste and nutritional properties.
