Cultivar Nocellara olives are prized Sicilian olives also known as Oliva di Castelvetrano or Mazara olives. Good, tasty and distinctive enough to merit PDO (protected designation of origin) certification.
PERFECTE Organic Sicilian Nocellara del Belice Olives in brine are grown using natural organic farming methods. Hand-harvested, selected and processed in Simple Brine; after a few hours, they are packaged and labeled in compliance with the rules governing BIO.
Organic Sicilian Nocellara del Belice Olives have a deep green color, a freshly picked olive scent and an unmistakable, slightly bitter and spicy flavor. They are spherical and symmetrical in shape, large in size, with a round apex and rounded base. Because of these characteristics, they are also suitable for cafeteria consumption, ideal for aperitifs, cocktails and fresh salads.
