Organic Sicilian Mandarins are special for so many reasons: they can be enjoyed until Spring, they taste very sweet, they are very juicy, and they are almost totally seedless. They encapsulate all the scents and flavors of Sicily! It is a variety also called “marzuddu,” precisely because it ripens from January to March, unlike Clementines, which ripen between October and November.
They have a very thin light yellow or pale orange skin and a fine-textured flesh. We harvest Organic Sicilian Mandarins at the time of shipment, when they have reached the right point of ripeness on the tree. They will arrive at your home immediately after harvesting from the tree, which is done manually with care and attention. Therefore, they can be stored in the refrigerator.
